DATA & TRUST

Your data stays in the right place

Berrytron is designed to create more decision-grade physical information from what you already have — while you keep control of your machine data. Data-handling and deployment arrangements are agreed case by case.

THE PRINCIPLE

Public first, infer second, ask last

Data minimisation is built into how a Virtual Sensor Module is configured.

Public first

Start with public specifications, open engineering knowledge and selected existing machine signals.

Infer second

Data-calibrate machine-specific unknowns only when the state is observable and the parameters are identifiable.

Ask last

Ask you only for irreducible configuration facts or measurements. Reduced dependence on CAD, new sensors or proprietary data is conditional — not guaranteed for every machine.

WHAT WE COMMIT TO

Customer control, by default

We make no legal, regulatory or cybersecurity certification claims. These are the working principles behind every engagement.

You control your machine data

Customers retain control of machine data. Berrytron uses only the data needed for the agreed scope.

No silent reuse

Any cross-customer training or shared model use requires your explicit authorisation.

Deployment that matches your maturity

From secure project exchange to customer-controlled storage, private cloud/VPC, on-prem or local runner, or edge — depending on maturity and security needs.

Control plane and data plane kept apart

Wherever appropriate, VSM versions and evidence (the control plane) are separated from the processing of your signals (the data plane).

Source traceability

Every input and parameter in a Validation Record has a recorded source, so you can see what came from public information, from calibration or from you.

Non-negotiable limits

No sensitive raw data before a scoped agreement. No claims outside the validated Operating Domain. No safety or compliance certification implied.

Start without sharing raw data

The Signal Scan works from machine identity, signal lists and your physical question. Data access, storage and deployment are agreed only once the scope is clear.
